WoSafeThis policy explains how users and professionals should cancel bookings or subscriptions and how timing can affect charges. Last updated: 29 July 2026.
This policy applies to eligible bookings and subscriptions made through WoSafe. Service-specific conditions displayed before confirmation control where they are more specific, subject to applicable law.
Use the cancellation control inside the booking where available. Select the accurate reason and review any displayed charge before confirming. If the control is unavailable, contact in-app support promptly and provide the booking reference. Sending a general website message does not automatically cancel a booking.
A request cancelled before professional acceptance will generally not incur a professional time or travel charge, although payment-authorisation release timing is controlled by the payment provider. Any exception must be displayed before confirmation or required by applicable terms.
A cancellation may remain eligible without charge or with a limited charge depending on time remaining, category and current booking terms. The app should show the applicable condition where supported.
When a professional has reserved time, prepared, started travel or declined other work, a late-cancellation amount may apply. The amount, if any, should be disclosed through the booking flow. WoSafe may review exceptional circumstances and platform records.
Once the professional arrives or the confirmed service begins, cancellation may be treated as partial delivery. Charges can reflect time, authorised expenses, travel and work already performed. Safety concerns should be reported immediately through the appropriate support channel.
If the user is unavailable, provides an incorrect or inaccessible location, or does not respond after reasonable contact attempts, the booking may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show under the displayed terms.
Professionals should cancel only when necessary and as early as possible, using the app and an accurate reason. Repeated avoidable cancellations can affect account standing. WoSafe may offer the user available alternatives; the user is not required to accept a materially different replacement.
Where continuing a booking may be unsafe, unlawful or medically inappropriate, prioritise immediate safety and contact official emergency services when required. Report the cancellation to WoSafe as soon as reasonably possible. Charges or refunds will be reviewed using the available facts and applicable law.
A material change to time, location, duration, recipient or tasks may require professional approval, a new price or cancellation and rebooking. A user should not use a minor edit to avoid an applicable cancellation condition.
Use the subscription-management route shown in the app or relevant app store. Cancellation ordinarily stops the next renewal while access continues for the paid period. Deleting the app or account does not necessarily cancel a third-party app-store subscription; follow the store’s process as well.
Cancellation does not automatically guarantee a refund. Any eligible return is handled under the Refund Policy, the payment status and transaction-specific conditions.
WoSafe may review patterns suggesting fraud, professional disruption, promotion abuse, false emergencies or manipulation of fees. Appropriate action may include loss of promotion, booking restrictions, account review or suspension.
Contact support with the booking reference and explanation. If unresolved, escalate through the Grievance process. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.
