1. Agreement and scope
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the WoSafe website, mobile applications, support channels and related services operated by WoSafePoint Private Limited (“WoSafe”, “we”, “our” or “us”). “Platform” means those websites, applications and services together.
By creating an account, accessing a protected feature, booking or providing a service, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and any additional terms clearly presented for a specific service, subscription, promotion or transaction. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility and minors
You must be legally capable of accepting these Terms. Users below 18 must use the Platform only with the involvement and supervision of a parent or lawful guardian where permitted. A guardian who permits a minor to use WoSafe is responsible for supervising that use and for applicable bookings and payments.
Caregivers, drivers, nurses, translators, companions and other service professionals must be at least 18 and satisfy all current role-specific eligibility requirements.
3. Accounts and security
Provide accurate, current and complete registration information. Keep login credentials, devices and verification codes secure, and promptly notify support if you suspect unauthorised access.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. Do not sell, transfer, share or create misleading accounts. WoSafe may request reasonable information to confirm identity or account ownership.
4. WoSafe’s platform role
WoSafe provides technology for safety tools, service discovery, professional profiles, bookings, communication, payments and operational support. Unless expressly stated for a particular service, WoSafe is not the direct employer, medical provider, transport operator, law-enforcement agency, government emergency service or insurer of independent professionals available through the Platform.
Availability, service scope and the legal relationship between WoSafe and a professional may vary by category and location.
5. Services and availability
Service categories may include caregiving, companionship, women drivers, nursing assistance, translators, guides, domestic help, home assistance and other support. Categories, features, professionals, prices and geographic availability may change.
A listing or profile does not guarantee that a professional will be available, suitable for every need or permitted to perform tasks outside the scope shown in the app.
6. Verification and profile information
Professionals may be required to complete identity, address, document, qualification, licence or applicable background-verification steps. Requirements depend on role, location, law and available verification partners.
A “verified” indicator means the checks identified by WoSafe for that profile were completed at the relevant time. It is not an endorsement, guarantee of skill, guarantee of future conduct or substitute for a user’s reasonable judgement. Users should review profile details, scope, ratings and their own requirements before booking.
7. Bookings and service requests
All service interactions should be initiated and managed through the mobile app. A request is not confirmed until the Platform displays confirmation. Review the service category, date, time, location, expected tasks, estimated price and any special requirements before confirming.
Material changes may require professional acceptance, price adjustment or a new booking. Do not ask a professional to perform unlawful, unsafe, unlicensed or materially different work.
8. User responsibilities
- Use the Platform only for genuine, lawful purposes.
- Provide a safe and reasonably accessible service environment.
- Communicate needs, hazards, health considerations and boundaries accurately.
- Treat professionals respectfully and do not harass, discriminate, threaten or exploit them.
- Do not misuse SOS, location, reviews, promotions, payments or support processes.
- Follow applicable laws and official emergency instructions.
9. Professional and caregiver responsibilities
- Maintain truthful identity, credentials, qualifications, availability and service information.
- Accept only work you are competent, authorised and physically able to perform.
- Respect consent, dignity, privacy, household rules and professional boundaries.
- Communicate delays, inability to perform, incidents and material changes promptly.
- Do not subcontract, transfer bookings or bring unauthorised persons without approval.
- Comply with the Caregiver Policy, Community Guidelines and applicable professional obligations.
10. SOS and emergency features
WoSafe may provide tools for initiating an SOS flow, alerting configured contacts, sharing supported location information or accessing available support pathways. Features depend on device permissions, network connectivity, service availability, configuration and third-party systems.
WoSafe does not guarantee that an alert will always transmit, that a contact will respond, that location will be exact or that assistance will arrive within a particular time. WoSafe is not a substitute for 112, police, ambulance, fire, medical or other official emergency services. In immediate danger, contact the appropriate official service as soon as it is safe to do so.
11. Location and safety information
Certain features require location, device, notification or contact permissions. You control these permissions through supported app and device settings, but disabling them may limit functionality.
Only share another person’s location or personal information where you have lawful authority and appropriate consent. Do not use WoSafe to stalk, monitor, intimidate or surveil another person.
12. Communications
WoSafe may send transactional messages about accounts, bookings, safety events, verification, payments, security and policy changes. Promotional messages will be handled according to applicable choices and law.
In-app chat or calling must not be used for harassment, spam, fraud, unlawful content or attempts to bypass platform safety and payment processes. Communications may be retained or reviewed where permitted for safety, support, dispute resolution and legal compliance.
13. Prices, fees and taxes
Current prices, estimates, taxes, platform charges, cancellation conditions and other amounts should be shown before confirmation where applicable. Estimates may change when booking details, duration, distance, scope, taxes or authorised extras change.
You authorise WoSafe and supported payment providers to process confirmed amounts using your selected method. Users are responsible for lawful taxes, bank charges and currency conversion costs that apply to them. Professionals are responsible for taxes and registrations applicable to their earnings unless law requires otherwise.
14. Payments and failed transactions
Use only payment methods that you are authorised to use. Payment processing may be performed by third-party providers under their own terms. WoSafe does not ask users to send passwords, PINs or one-time passwords by email.
A failed, pending or reversed payment does not necessarily confirm a booking. Where a debit occurs without successful confirmation, provide the transaction reference to support for review.
15. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation eligibility and charges can depend on booking status, time remaining, professional acceptance, travel or preparation, service duration and the reason for cancellation. The app should display the applicable condition before cancellation where available.
Refunds are not automatic for completed or partially delivered services. Duplicate payments, provider cancellations, non-delivery, technical failures and documented safety or quality issues may be reviewed individually. The separate Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy provide additional detail and form part of these Terms.
16. Subscriptions and promotions
If subscriptions are offered, the price, duration, included benefits, renewal method and cancellation controls will be presented before purchase. Unless otherwise stated, cancelling recurring renewal does not retroactively refund a period already started.
Promotional credits, coupons and referrals may have eligibility, expiry, location, account and service restrictions. They have no cash value unless required by law and may be withdrawn where obtained through error, abuse or fraud.
17. Reviews and user content
Content you submit must be genuine, relevant, lawful and respectful. Do not post confidential information, fabricated incidents, discriminatory material, threats, impersonation or content that infringes another person’s rights.
You retain ownership of eligible content but grant WoSafe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display it for operating, protecting and improving the Platform. WoSafe may moderate content consistently with policy and law.
18. Intellectual property
The Platform, software, design, text, graphics, trademarks, logo and other WoSafe materials are owned by or licensed to WoSafe. These Terms grant a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Platform for its intended purpose.
Do not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, frame, misuse branding, interfere with security or create derivative services except where law expressly permits and cannot be excluded.
19. Privacy and personal data
WoSafe’s Privacy Policy explains relevant collection, use, sharing, retention and user choices. Safety and service features may involve sensitive location, identity, health-related or emergency information.
Use of personal data is subject to applicable law and the Platform’s published notices. These Terms do not reduce any non-waivable data-protection rights.
20. Third-party services and links
The Platform may depend on maps, communications, app stores, payment providers, identity-verification vendors or external websites. Third parties control their own systems, availability and terms.
WoSafe is not responsible for unrelated third-party content or independent failures beyond its reasonable control, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
21. Prohibited conduct
You must not commit fraud; impersonate another person; evade verification; exploit minors or vulnerable people; interfere with systems; distribute malware; harvest data; discriminate; threaten; stalk; arrange illegal services; manipulate ratings; create false emergencies; bypass authorised payments; or use the Platform to violate another person’s rights.
WoSafe may investigate suspected misuse and cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
22. Suspension and termination
WoSafe may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, payment risk, investigation, repeated complaints, policy violations or protection of users and professionals.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, WoSafe may provide notice or an opportunity to respond. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion, subject to applicable retention obligations.
23. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. WoSafe works to support dependable operations but does not promise uninterrupted access, universal geographic coverage, perfect matching, exact location, a particular professional outcome or prevention of every harmful event.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
24. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WoSafe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, including loss caused by unauthorised platform use, inaccurate user information, independent professional conduct or third-party system failure.
Any limitation applies only to the extent lawful and does not exclude liability that cannot be limited, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or other non-excludable obligations.
25. Complaints and dispute resolution
First contact support with your account details, relevant booking or transaction reference and requested resolution. Safety or unresolved consumer concerns may be escalated through the Grievance page.
The parties should attempt good-faith resolution. These Terms are governed by applicable laws of India, without restricting mandatory consumer rights or a forum that applicable law entitles you to use.
26. Changes, severability and contact
WoSafe may update these Terms to reflect law, features, risk or business operations. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable channels. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted; if you disagree, stop using the Platform.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Questions may be sent to support@wosafepoint.com or WoSafePoint Private Limited, Choti Imadpur, Rafiganj, Aurangabad, Bihar 824125, India.
