Policy information
Clear expectations for our community.
1. Scope and controlling information
This policy applies to eligible payments processed through WoSafe. The price, service status, cancellation condition and specific terms displayed at checkout or booking confirmation form part of the transaction. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights.
2. When a refund may be considered
- A duplicate charge for the same transaction.
- A successful debit where no booking or subscription was created.
- A professional cancels and WoSafe cannot provide an accepted alternative.
- A confirmed service was not provided.
- A documented technical failure prevented delivery of the paid feature.
- A verified safety, quality or material service-scope concern justifies review.
- Another situation where refund is required by applicable law or the terms shown at purchase.
3. Situations normally not fully refundable
- A service was completed substantially as booked.
- The user changed their mind after work, travel, preparation or reserved time began.
- The user provided an incorrect address, was unavailable or prevented reasonable delivery.
- The complaint concerns a preference not included in the confirmed service scope.
- A promotional credit, coupon or non-cash benefit expired or was used contrary to its conditions.
- The request is unsupported, fraudulent, duplicated or submitted through an unrelated account.
4. Partial refunds and adjustments
Where a service was partly delivered or some value was received, WoSafe may consider a partial refund, account adjustment or other reasonable resolution. The review may consider completed time, authorised expenses, professional preparation, platform records and the nature of the concern.
5. Provider cancellation or non-arrival
If a professional cancels or does not arrive, use in-app support promptly. WoSafe may help locate an alternative. If no accepted alternative is delivered, eligible paid amounts will be reviewed for return; independently incurred costs are not automatically reimbursable.
6. Subscriptions
Subscription cancellation normally prevents a future renewal rather than refunding a period that has already started. A duplicate renewal, technical billing error or legally required cooling-off right will be reviewed under the applicable purchase terms. Removing the app does not itself cancel a subscription.
7. How to request a review
Contact support through the app or at support@wosafepoint.com using the registered contact details. Include the booking or transaction reference, date, amount, payment status, concise reason and relevant supporting material. Never send a PIN, password, card security code or one-time password.
8. Review process
WoSafe may check booking status, app records, communication, payment-provider results and information from the user and professional. Additional identity or account-ownership confirmation may be requested. Complex safety, fraud or provider disputes can require additional review.
9. Approved refund method and timing
Approved refunds are ordinarily sent to the original eligible payment method unless law or payment-system limitations require another approved route. WoSafe will communicate the processing status. Banks, card networks and payment providers control the time required after WoSafe initiates a refund.
10. Chargebacks and duplicate recovery
Contact WoSafe before starting a payment dispute where practical. You must not recover the same amount twice through both a refund and a chargeback. WoSafe may provide relevant transaction records to the payment provider when responding to a dispute.
11. Escalation
If the support outcome does not resolve your concern, use the Grievance process with the original case reference. Your statutory consumer remedies remain available.
12. Relationship with cancellation rules
A refund concerns return of eligible funds; cancellation concerns ending a booking or renewal. Review the separate Cancellation Policy before cancelling.
