Fees and Payments

Transparent pricing and payment terms for all users

6.1 General Subscription Fees

  • Indian Users: WoSafePoint offers subscription packages on a monthly or annual basis.
  • International Users: WoSafePoint offers subscription packages on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis to accommodate tourists and short-term visitors.

By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable subscription fees, caregiver service charges, and any additional amounts (including taxes and surcharges) as displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase.

6.2 Caregiver Service Charges

In addition to subscription fees, users hiring caregivers will be charged a service fee per engagement/session. The service fee is payable directly through the Platform and is separate from the caregiver's own compensation. WoSafePoint reserves the right to modify service charges from time to time, with notice provided prior to billing cycles.

6.3 Payment Methods and Due Dates

  • Payments must be made using the payment options available on the Platform (e.g., UPI, debit/credit card, net banking for India; international cards and global gateways for overseas users).
  • Subscription fees will be charged in the local currency (INR for India, USD/EUR/GBP or other available currencies for international users).
  • All fees must be paid in advance by the due date as specified in the Platform.

6.4 Taxes and Additional Charges

  • Subscription and service charges are exclusive of taxes, and applicable GST (for India) or other international taxes may apply.
  • Users are responsible for any additional costs associated with their payment method, such as exchange rate variations, bank charges, or international gateway fees.

6.5 Modifications to Payment Plans

WoSafePoint may revise subscription or service charges at its discretion.

  • Any changes will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle following at least 30 days' advance notice.
  • If you do not agree to the revised fees, you must cancel your subscription at least 7 working days before the renewal date.

6.6 Default in Payment

  • If payment is not received by the due date, WoSafePoint reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform and Services.
  • Late payments may incur an additional charge of 2% per month (or the maximum permitted by law), accruing daily until payment is made in full.

6.7 No Withholding or Deductions

All payments must be made without deduction or withholding of any kind unless required by applicable law. If withholding is required, you agree to pay an additional amount to ensure WoSafePoint receives the full amount due.

6.8 Payment Partners

WoSafePoint works with authorized Indian and international payment providers to facilitate transactions. By making payments on the Platform, you acknowledge that:

  • In India, payments may be processed through UPI, RBI-regulated gateways, or authorized banking partners.
  • Internationally, payments may be facilitated through global partners compliant with local financial regulations.
  • WoSafePoint is not responsible for technical failures, delays, or errors caused by third-party payment partners.

6.9 Refunds and Cancellations

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • Caregiver service charges are refundable only if the service was not initiated or delivered, subject to WoSafePoint's review and approval.

7. Authority to WoSafePoint Payment Agent Role

Caregivers agree and acknowledge to appoint WoSafePoint as their authorized payment collection agent ("Payment Agent") solely for the purpose of facilitating the receipt of payments (via its Payment Services Providers) from Users for caregiving services rendered through the Platform. Payment received from Users by WoSafePoint will be considered the same as payment made directly to the Caregiver, regardless of whether WoSafePoint remits or fails to remit the payment to the Caregiver.

Caregivers authorize WoSafePoint in its role as Payment Agent to:

  • Manage User payments, chargebacks, or disputes on behalf of Caregivers.
  • Issue refunds to Users when services were not rendered or were cancelled in line with our refund policy.
  • Hold, disburse, and retain payments on behalf of Caregivers pursuant to these Terms of Service, or otherwise instruct WoSafePoint's Payment Service Providers to do so.

Payments to Caregivers

Users may pay Caregivers in Indian Rupees (INR) or in international currencies as supported by WoSafePoint's payment partners. The final amount due and the applicable exchange rate (if international) will always be clearly disclosed to Users prior to completing the payment.

Caregivers may elect to receive payments in one of the supported currencies provided by WoSafePoint. Any retail fees, bank charges, or exchange rate adjustments applied by the Payment Service Provider will be passed through to the Caregiver.

Ownership of Work and Deliverables

Unless otherwise agreed in writing between the Caregiver and the User, all services, care reports, or deliverables provided by a Caregiver through the Platform are deemed the exclusive property of the User once full payment has been made. Users may not use any service reports, care schedules, or other deliverables if payment is not made in full or if the booking is cancelled.

Caregivers confirm that any information they receive from Users (including personal, medical, or household information) that is not already in the public domain will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be shared, disclosed, or used for any purpose other than providing services under the booking.

Confidentiality & Compliance

Caregivers must:

  • Keep all sensitive or private information obtained during service delivery confidential.
  • Not use User data for personal purposes, resale, or external disclosure.
  • Acknowledge that violations of confidentiality obligations may result in account suspension, termination, or legal action as per applicable laws in India and internationally.
